Short-term credit and financing can help you take advantage of early-order discounts, fall fertilizer application and purchasing crop inputs. And while we can’t promise to make the process completely stress-free, we can help you get your financial statements in order, fill out credit applications and navigate some of the most popular financing programs available to growers today. MRGA Financing
This program is the most flexible financing option we offer as any agricultural input purchased from MRGA qualifies, including fertilizer and application costs. It is a great option for anyone looking to push payments out with loans maturing March 1st of the year following the crop season. The loans are revolving, which means you can pay them off and continue using the funds throughout the season as needed. Rates are typically around Prime but do vary in either direction depending on score of creditworthiness. The application for this program is entirely online and can be accessed through your MRGA Grower Portal. If you do not have access to your Grower Portal, please let your Sales Agronomist or our Credit Manager know, and we can get that setup for you.

Winfield Secure Financing Program
MRGA is an authorized retailer for the Winfield Secure Financing program, administered through ProPartners Financial and Land O’Lakes Financing. It’s available for Croplan, Dekalb, Asgrow, NK, and Mycogen seed brands, along with any vended crop protection products sourced by Winfield.
A single-page application is all that’s required to get started, as well as an entity authorization form if you are applying as a business entity.Qualified borrowers can get up to $500k with the single-page application, or up to $1M with additional financial statements and UCC filing. Maturity for all loans is February 1st of the year following the crop season. Rates for 2025 crop inputs financing are 4.5% Fixed (A-credit) and 6.5% Fixed (B-Credit). Fertilizer financing is available through Secure at a rate of Prime +1% or Prime +2%, Variable.

MRGA has partnered with John Deere Financial to offer special terms financing on seed and crop protection, along with their regular finance programs that have been in place for a number of years.

Rabo AgriFinance
Rabo AgriFinance’s Input Financing group provides an incremental line of capital to purchase inputs, plus flexible payment options that can help improve your operation’s cash flow. Special term financing allows you to take advantage of early-season discounts and align crop year expenses to crop-year revenues for improved cash flow.
Corteva TruChoice
MRGA is a participating retailer in the Corteva TruChoice Program. Growers are eligible for various levels of discounts (please see TruChoice offer) on Corteva crop protection products (CPP). We are excited to streamline this process for our growers by utilizing the Retailer Prepay Account, which allows us to allocate funds to your account throughout the season as you pay your invoices. To participate in the program please complete the following:
1.Let your Sales Agronomist or our Credit Manager know you would like to participate in the program.
2. Fund a TruChoice Prepay Account with a minimum of $5,000 by the prepay deadline
- You can write a check out to MRGA and have us fund your account for you through our Retailer Prepay Account OR
- You can fund your own account by visiting www.corteva.us
3. Pay your invoices as you normally do throughout the season.
4. A rebate credit will be applied to your account at MRGA at the end of the season once all transactions are finalized. Corteva will send a check for any unused prepay that was not funded through our Retailer Prepay Account.
Please note that Corteva requires purchases of at least $5,000 to be made to retain any discounts received. Additionally, any funds that are allocated using the MRGA Retailer Prepay Account can only be used for purchases made at MRGA
MRGA Charge Account
Every farm customer at MRGA is eligible to apply for a 30-Day Account. This account bills at the end of the month, with the balance due by the 10th of the following month. You may apply as an Individual (Sole Proprietor), Partnership, or Corporation by completing the charge account application below and returning it to your Sales Agronomist or our Credit Manager in Casselton.
