Please join us in congratulating Tanner McDaniel on his promotion to Grain Originator. Here is a little background on Tanner McDaniel:
Tanner grew up on a grain farm in the far northeast corner of South Dakota. He attended high school in Sisseton, SD and college in Wahpeton at NDSCS. Most of his childhood was spent outside on the farm and in his father’s fields helping tend to the land and the crop. In 2018 he married his wife in Fargo, ND where they both lived.
He and his wife decided they wanted to plant roots in a bit more rural and relaxed community and started looking at places in Casselton. In May they bought a house in Casselton and in July Tanner applied to work at Maple River Grain & Agronomy, LLC. Tanner spent a little over two years working at the Casselton terminal getting to know the working of the operational side of the business. In September of 2020, he was presented an opportunity to move more into the office as a grain originator and looks forward to helping producers meet their needs and furthering their relationship with the company.
