We are excited to welcome Justice Keefauver to the team! Learn more about Justice and join us as we congratulate him on his new role as a Sales Agronomist.
“I was born and raised in Cold Spring, MN. I enjoy spending my free time with my wife, friends, and family at the lake, hunting, fishing, golfing, and playing fetch with my golden retriever.
Growing up, I watched my dad interact with retail sales managers/agronomists to help them position products and services with the growers around central Minnesota. This inspired me to pursue a degree in agriculture where I could help create impactful experiences, with growers of today and tomorrow.
Post high school, I attended North Dakota State University, where I achieved a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business. I spent every summer doing internships from university potato research, and retail agronomy in central MN to sales and marketing with an industry-leading manufacturing company. I also was an active member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity.
After graduation, in the spring of 2017, my wife and I moved to southeast, MN where I got a sales agronomist role, with a progressive retail Co-op. I worked there as an advisor for five years with a large customer base of dairy producers, beef producers, and row crop producers. I enjoyed the diverse client base and excelled quickly in the fast-paced environment. I have a wealth of knowledge in crop protection, seed, precision agronomy, fertility balance, plant health, and return on investment.
I look forward to bringing my experiences and different perspective to the team, at Maple River Grain and Agronomy, earning the trust and building long-term relationships with our customers. I am eager to meet everyone and look forward to advising/educating customers to meet their farming goals of high yields and strong profitability!”
